Immerse Yourself in Early Childhood Education

The YMCA's childcare services have been at the heart of Australian communities for over 40 years. Our focus is on helping children grow in body, mind and spirit.

Our Program

We offer a range of activities designed to foster learning and development. Children participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance and more.

Our Work Environment

Our early childhood education center is located in a safe and supportive community. The school has access to the Turrbal Heritage Trail, allowing children and the community to learn about local history and culture.

We operate from 6:30am to 8:45am and 2:55pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Vacation Care operates from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Our program offers indoor and outdoor play options. Indoor activities include a homework club, science experiments and coding. Outdoor play includes tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds and nature walks where children learn about wildlife and plants.

Our service philosophy prioritises community and belonging, children's agency and spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood. We offer planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.
