We believe our Customers; our People and our Community are the heart of what we do. To ensure we deliver the best possible experience we are looking for an experience ICT Support Officer to join our team to collaborate closely with our Group IT Manager.
The ICT Support Officer provides the first point of contact for all IT Support requests and issues (level 1 & 2 support). Responsibilities include providing general IT support, problem resolution, triaging of support requests, responding in a timely manner and providing IT advise to the Klose team.
You will utilise your outstanding customer service skills, you will provide a high level of knowledge, support and advice to all desktop and network ICT users.
You will support the maintenance, updating and implementation of IT equipment, hardware, software, POS, telephone, and security systems. To ensure an environment of continuous improvement, you will actively contribute to, develop, and implement IT policies and procedures.
We also encourage entry-level and graduate technicians to apply, as we can provide one-on-one on-the-job training for individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:
- Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn industry specific software and office software (EMC, Ezi-POS, Ezi-Scale, Microsoft 365)
- Systems upgrades and implementations.
- User account creation and management
- Communication of escalations to Systems Manager and Third-Party Vendors
- Training of new team members and providing continued technical support and training to team members both remotely and onsite.
- Work in an adaptive environment where daily responsibilities can change daily.
- Desktop support / Training
- Application support / Training
- Helpdesk support / Training
- Troubleshooting problems and provide innovative ways to overcome issues.
- Collation and documentation of assets
