About us: 
The High Dependency Unit is responsible for providing cardiac and haemodynamic monitoring, inotropic support, and invasive/non-invasive ventilation, including the monitoring of six external cardiac telemetry units from the medical/surgical ward. An Outpatient Clinic measurement service is included in the responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse, including cardiac stress tests, spirometry's, and a pacemaker clinic.
About the role: 
- Deliver an advanced standard of patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation by using clinical nursing expertise including for patients with complex care needs.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision, clinical education, and up-skilling to Nurses to achieve a skilled capable workforce in line with professional workforce standards.
- Support cost effective workplace teaching and learning that promotes and fosters a culture of continuous learning and enquiry.
- Integrate nursing and advanced health care knowledge, skills, and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Participate in developing and undertaking quality initiatives clinical audits, and research.
About you: 
- Current nursing qualification with a registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- While not mandatory, a relevant A relevant post-graduate qualification in critical care is well regarded. Ventilation competency is advantageous to the position. Where the applicant does not currently hold this qualification, a commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.
What we offer: 
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
