This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under theNSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Now is a great time to join the team at Wentworth Health Service. The Wentworth Hospital has undergone a full redevelopment and the brand-new facility opened in September 2025. The new hospital features 19 inpatient beds and a modern emergency department, including two resuscitation bays.

The Wentworth Local Government Area is home to approximately 7,500 residents, with around 1,500 living in the township of Wentworth. Nestled at the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers, Wentworth offers a relaxed lifestyle with all essential amenities. What you'll be doing

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, provide safe, compassionate, person centred care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.

* Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.
* Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner.
