Disability Justice Role
This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
The Disability Justice Coordinator will work closely with government agencies and service providers to ensure seamless support for clients involved in the justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate support and services for clients, assessing their needs and implementing justice-based plans.
* Develop and implement goal-setting frameworks, monitoring progress and referrals as necessary.
* Operate according to relevant legislation and standards, exercising appropriate authorities and legal delegations.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of disability supports and advocacy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
* Valid work permit or visa.
* National police check and misconduct screening.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
