Global Skills is supportive of candidates looking to enter the Employment Services industry for the first time and also welcomes applications from experienced candidates with current or previous industry or related experience.
Some key responsibilities for our Employment Consultant roles:
* Provide and arrange customised support to a diverse caseload of job seekers, including the development of personalised job plans, resume and career guidance, interview preparation, referral to training and support services and ongoing workplace support after job placement
* Build positive relationships with potential employers to broker suitable roles.
Successful candidates for these Employment Consultant roles will:
* Share our commitment to providing a high standard of customer service
* Possess exceptional communication skills and an ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
* Possess good administrative and computer skills
* Have experience working to deadlines and/or KPIs
* Pass a Criminal Record Check, Working with Children Check and other checks as deemed necessary
* Be eligible to work in Australia
* Be expected to comply with all Information Security and Privacy requirements
* Be able to work full-time hours onsite, Monday to Friday
* Bi-lingual applicants who speak Arabic, Assyrian, Vietnamese, Cantonese/Mandarin or other languages will be highly regarded.
