About us:
Rockhampton is the principal service centre for this area and as such provides the medical coverage, professional supervision, and administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, support for accreditation and implementation of programs as well as acute inpatient facilities for the Central Queensland Mental Health teams. About the role:
The Mental Health Clinician delivers high quality evidence based clinical services in the therapeutic treatment of children and young people (and their family or carer networks) experiencing mental health issues and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. This includes crisis intervention, case management and therapeutic counselling.
The position works closely with community partners including schools, child safety, non-government organisations and other service providers in the care of young people experiencing mental health issues.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
* Working with Children Clearance
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
