About the Role:

The Rehabilitation Aged and Community Services (RACS) Social Work Team is comprised of a Community Team and an Inpatient Team.
Our teams cover a range of clinical areas, including Community Health Centres, Canberra Hospital (Aged Care Wards), and University of Canberra Hospital. We support qualified Social Workers with a range of opportunities, including learning and practice development support from our Clinical Lead Social Worker, engagement in service improvement activities, access to regular clinical supervision and in-house professional development, as well as access to funded professional development after completion of your first 12 months. You will also have the opportunity to rotate between different work areas, and to develop your own supervision skills with provision of supervision to Junior Social Workers and Students.
We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:
1 X Full-time permanent HP3 position to be located initially on our Aged Care Units at Canberra Hospital.
1 X Part-time temporary HP3 (up to 18.38 hours per week) with possibility of extension and or permanency, to be located initially in the Community based RADAR Team (Rapid Assessment of the Deteriorating Aged at Risk).
