Overview
Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not‐for‐profit organisation improving the lives of older people. This role is based in the Ulladulla region and is available on a part‐time or casual basis.
Location & Schedule
Ulladulla region, part‐time or casual. You must be available for 3 to 5 weekdays each week, either from 0700‐1300, 0700‐1200, or 0700‐1500, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day practical care for older people, supporting their independence in their own homes.
* Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, offering companionship.
* Travel to clients' homes using your own car, with pay of $0.99 per kilometre plus paid travel time.
* Assist with personal tasks and support clients' daily routines.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in aged or community care, or a willingness to start a career in aged care.
* Valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third‐party property insurance).
* Preferred: Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, but not essential.
* Flexible and patient, able to meet changing client needs.
Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly pay of $31.95 to $35.44, plus $0.99/km and paid travel time.
* Mobile phone provided and full training (no experience required).
