Overview
Leaps & Bounds Speech Pathology is the longest running practice in the Hunter Region, providing services in speech, language, stuttering, voice, feeding, swallowing, literacy and social communication across clinics, schools, homes and telehealth. We offer flexible hours from 8am–5pm for part-time (minimum 3 days) or full-time roles for experienced or soon-to-be graduates.
Position Requirements
* Experience working with children and adults with a range of communication needs in clinic and community settings
* Robust organisational, written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable with a paediatric caseload and clients on the autism spectrum
* Ability to liaise with teachers, parents and health professionals
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
* Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree or equivalent
* Certified Practising Speech Pathology (CPSP) membership with Speech Pathology Australia
* Current Working with Children Check, First Aid and NSW Police Check
* Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider number
* Valid Australian driver licence and comprehensive car insurance
