Overview
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services – Darwin NT (ARRCS) is sourcing a skilled Clinical Educator to join on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in our Regional Office in Darwin or Alice Springs, the role will develop content and deliver to clinical teams across the Top End of the NT and support Central Australia when required. The role is offered at an annual salary of $115,000 gross base.
This role would ideally suit a skilled Registered Nurse who wants to move their career towards education and mentoring for current RNs across ARRCS facilities. You will be passionate about ensuring care is provided by a skilled workforce, comfortable working with minimal supervision, and able to travel to remote locations within the NT regularly.
Regular travel to remote locations within the Northern Territory is required and may involve travel in a 4WD and single-engine aircraft where necessary. This role is not being offered with Visa Sponsorship.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
* Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, preferred however, not essential.
* Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach with the proven ability to use contemporary education and teaching methods to develop and motivate staff towards a learning culture.
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate education and learning activities to meet individual learning needs using adult learning principles.
* Demonstrated skills in developing and teaching new approaches to practice that link evidence to improved consumer outcomes and experience
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nursing scope of practice, delegation and supervision of self and others
* Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel regularly to remote areas in the NT. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
