Strategic Pursuits Executive

As a Strategic Pursuits Executive, you'll be responsible for managing large Government deals, developing client relationships at CXO level, and driving sales of Optus Business products including Mobile Fleets, Fixed Data, Voice, and ICT solutions across Australia.
This national role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Pursuits, and operates within a Sales Matrix structure. You'll lead a virtual team from cross-company resources, including partners, and manage the sales opportunity process from Qualification, Opportunity plans, and WinLabs to maximize opportunities while selling all Optus Business products and services into Optus Business acquisition/prospect accounts and assigned pursuits.
You will maintain a high sales activity pipeline, build broad customer relationships, and coordinate internal Optus groups to support customer needs effectively. You'll also lead both direct and virtual teams across Optus Business, Singtel, and third-party providers without direct report accountability, ensuring timely and successful pursuit outcomes.
Crafting deal strategies to improve commercial outcomes, aiming to increase market share in core carriage, ICT, security, professional services, and cloud offerings is essential. Maintaining accurate records, producing timely reports, and clear communication with all stakeholders are crucial to align internal teams and meet customer needs.
