Key Role: Therapeutic Specialist
Job Description
As a skilled Therapeutic Specialist, you will work in a dynamic environment providing individualized care that promotes healing, growth, and overall well-being. You will guide and support carer and staff interactions with children and young people, conducting assessments and developing therapeutic treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance on therapeutic services including Family Therapy directly to clients.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
* Lead reflective practice sessions to enhance carers' and staff's therapeutic skills.
Requirements
* Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related field.
* Be registered as a psychologist with the relevant professional body.
* Possess post-graduate training in child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family therapy and systemic thinking.

Location and Reporting Structure
This role is based in Clarence Coffs Harbour (NSW) within our Intensive Therapeutic Care Program and reports to the Principal Practitioner.
