About This Opportunity
We are seeking two highly motivated and experienced Principal Project Officers to coordinate the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines. Working under broad direction, you will lead end-to-end project delivery activities across projects of varying size, scale and complexity, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards while engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating and overseeing project lifecycle activities, including planning, monitoring, evaluation, risk and issue management.
* Developing and implementing project plans, schedules and documentation to support effective delivery and governance.
* Providing high-level project management and subject matter advice to support informed decision-making and successful outcomes.
* Managing stakeholder engagement, project communications, budgets and reporting to ensure alignment with project objectives.

About You
You are an experienced project professional with strong delivery capability, sound judgement and the ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment.
* Postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward them) in Business, Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
* A Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline with at least four years' subsequent experience delivering projects of similar scale and scope.
* Demonstrated experience applying best-practice project management methodologies and frameworks.
* Strong project planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage risks, prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear project documentation and reports.
* Proven time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
* Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, or the ability to rapidly adapt to new systems and technologies.
