Role Description
We are seeking a Surgical Bookings Administrator to support our growing team at MTP Health. If you are someone who has excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and understand the surgical booking process, we would love to hear from you MTP Health is made up of a team of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physios, and Exercise Physiologists. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the theatre bookings and billing across multiple hospitals for our Orthopaedic Group of four surgeons. After an initial training period where onsite days will be required, the role can be fully remote or hybrid with onsite days being at either our St Leonards or Beacon Hill clinic.

Established in 2013, MTP Health is a truly integrated multidisciplinary practice incorporating Orthopaedic surgeons, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology. We are bridging the gap between medicine and exercise by providing full spectrum empowering health care and support from rehabilitation to performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling & Coordination: Booking operating theatres and managing surgeons' theatre schedules
* Patient Communication: Informing patients about upcoming surgeries, managing waiting lists, and answering queries
* Data Management: Accurate data entry for patient details and surgical requirements, using specific hospital systems
* Liaison: Communicating with surgeons, anaesthetists, Workers Compensation insurers and theatre staff to ensure all prerequisites for surgery are met
* Auditing & Reporting: Regularly checking waiting lists for accuracy and generating reports for management
