Job Description
This role is for a client operating at a global scale within the automotive aftermarket. The Product Specialist will be responsible for driving product portfolio optimization and new product launches across Southeast Asia and Pacific markets, with a strong focus on chassis and engine-related components.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive product portfolio optimization and new product launches across Southeast Asia and Pacific markets, with emphasis on chassis and engine parts
• Evaluate light vehicle, commercial vehicle, and off-highway markets through analysis of customer requirements, competitor offerings, and distributor networks
• Initiate market coverage expansion projects using structured project management tools and processes
• Develop and execute competitive product strategies based on market intelligence and competitor benchmarking
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective sales support materials that highlight product value propositions
• Ensure consistent product positioning and messaging through coordination with global and regional product teams

• Achieve or exceed SKU launch targets
• Generate revenue through new product introductions
• Optimize standard margin performance while maintaining competitive market positioning
• Support channel marketing programs to increase market share
• Contribute to competitor benchmarking initiatives supporting product development

• New SKU launch target achievement rate
• NPI gross sales achievement
• Standard margin performance versus target
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and product marketing within the automotive aftermarket
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, starters, alternators, and engine parts is an advantage
• Proven experience in B2B marketing and new product introduction processes
• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in material master data management and product lifecycle management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical analysis tools
• Fluency in English with strong written and presentation skills
