We are offering a fantastic opportunity to step into a Technical Service Manager role within our Melbourne office. Whether you already have experience in a similar position or you are a commercial plumber looking to step up, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling Assistance: Help with the scheduling of jobs and ensure timely completion.
* Technical Support: Provide support to plumbers and clients when needed, offering expert advice and solutions.
* Parts Ordering: Handle parts ordering for preventative maintenance (PM) jobs at the beginning of each month, and for other jobs as required.
* Parts Receiving: Oversee the receiving and management of parts for jobs.
* Job Status Updates: Regularly update job statuses and refer them for scheduling.
* Warehouse Management: Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse, ensuring parts are easily accessible.
* Job Review: Review job statuses on a weekly basis and take necessary action.
* Minor Quotes: Complete minor quotes for internal review.
* Parts Sourcing: Source and price parts as needed for jobs.
The ideal candidate
* A commercial plumbing background and a strong technical background.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both with clients and internal teams.
* Previous experience with parts ordering and job scheduling.
* An ability to review and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
* Computer literacy and proficiency in office-based software.
