What is the Role?
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Lawyer or Associate who enjoys hands-on client work, varied matters and working closely with experienced senior practitioners. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of employment, industrial relations, and work health & safety matters, often engaging directly with senior management, HR teams, and in-house legal teams.
Your matters may include:
* Employment claims, workplace investigations, and employee management
* Contract reviews, compliance, and post-employment restraints
* Award interpretation and underpayment issues
* Strategic IR advice, enterprise bargaining, and union engagement
* Right of entry and dispute management
* WHS incident response, enforcement matters, investigations, and workers' compensation.
Experience in IR and WHS is highly regarded but not essential.
Clients
The team works with a broad range of organisations across Australia and internationally, including listed companies, multinational corporations and SMEs. You'll often liaise with senior management, in-house legal teams, and global counterparts, providing exposure to high-level strategic matters while also supporting smaller national businesses.

You'll be a confident and client-focused employment lawyer who enjoys both autonomy and teamwork. Ideally, you will:
* Have minimum 1 years PAE in employment law (IR/WHS experience an advantage)
* Demonstrate strong technical, drafting, and analytical skills
* Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
* Thrive in a supportive and high-performing team environment.
