Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) at the University of Melbourne. Role type: Full time (9 day fortnight); Fixed Term until November 2026. Department: Student and Scholarly Services; Chief Operating Officer Portfolio. Salary: UOM 3 - $68,190 - $75,289 p.a. plus 17% super.
Responsibilities
- Implement High-Quality Curriculum: Work with colleagues to deliver educational programmes aligned with national frameworks and centre philosophy.
- Document Children\'s Learning: Contribute to the documentation of children\'s development under guidance from supportive colleagues.
- Create Safe and Stimulating Environments: Ensure children\'s safety while providing engaging learning opportunities that promote agency and choice.
- Build Positive Relationships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with families and colleagues, sharing information about children\'s daily activities.
Qualifications
- Hold an approved Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Experience working in an approved education and care service.
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
- Knowledge of relevant early childhood frameworks and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Be physically capable of engaging with children aged 0-5 years and meeting their care needs.
