Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to join our organization in Altona. This is a full-time permanent opportunity commencing as soon as possible.
The role will require the highest level of commitment, punctuality, and a can-do attitude. We are interested in candidates who have experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity. Good computer and admin skills are essential, and the ability to work well within a team is required.
Responsibilities:
* Manage 10-15 trucks in/around Melbourne
* Answer phone calls and assist with enquiries
* Book and schedule ensuring deadlines are met
* Carry out administration tasks and maintain compliance
* Maintain purchase orders and ensure on-time deliveries
* Schedule and prepare run sheets to be sent out
* Show initiative to enhance processes and suggest ideas for ongoing improvements
* Support continuous initiatives to support driver welfare
Requirements:
* Intermediate Excel skills
* SAP experience preferred
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and self-motivated
* Previous experience in a similar role
