Responsibilities
As our Human Resources Support Officer, you will support our Organisational Development team to deliver the full range of Human Resources functions. You will assist staff with enquiries, ensure information is accurately recorded and maintained, and provide general administrative support to the HR team. You will organise training for our staff and support the delivery of staff development and wellbeing initiatives. You will also support efficient, transparent end-to-end recruitment processes, prioritising a positive candidate experience and effective onboarding of new staff.
Your approachable and professional communication style will see you build a strong rapport with staff, promoting employee confidence in the delivery of responsive, confidential, and effective human resources functions. Your flexibility and can-do attitude will support the successful delivery of a wide variety of tasks for our diverse teams.

* Base annual salary circa $72,000 per annum dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications
* Annual leave loading of 17.5%

Qualifications and experience
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
* Behaviour that positively demonstrates the Shire's HEART of: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork
* Relevant work experience in Human Resources functions
* Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, databases, spreadsheets, internet, and email
* Previous administrative experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Valid 'C/C-A' class driver's license
Qualifications in Human Resources, Administration or other relevant field will be highly regarded.
