Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence & Patient Care:
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments to the highest clinical standards.
Develop Personalized Treatment Plans:
Create tailored treatment plans in line with patient needs, preferences, and budget considerations.
Stay Updated on Latest Technologies:
Stay current on the latest dental technologies, materials, and techniques to enhance treatment outcomes.
Provide Exceptional Clinical Care:
Deliver exceptional clinical care and oversee all patient treatment plans for successful outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
Resolve Difficult Situations:
Resolve difficult patient situations and complaints with timely and empathetic communication.
Operational & Business Support:
Support clinic managers in meeting revenue, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency targets.
Collaborate with Management:
Collaborate with management to optimize scheduling, chair time utilization, and patient flow.
Participate in Strategic Planning:
Participate in strategic planning for clinical services expansion and new treatment offerings.
Leadership & Team:
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff.
Provide Clinical Leadership:
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the dental team.
Mentor Junior Dentists:
Mentor junior dentists and ensure ongoing professional development within the team.
Lead by Example:
Lead by example to foster a collaborative, patient-focused culture.
Conduct Regular Meetings:
Conduct regular clinical team meetings to review performance and discuss complex cases.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Develop and maintain up-to-date clinical policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
Ensure Compliance:
Ensure all treatments meet strict compliance with dental regulations, infection prevention protocols, and patient safety standards.
Conduct Internal Audits:
Conduct internal audits to maintain quality assurance across all clinical activities.
Assist with Accreditation:
Assist in the preparation of documentation for accreditation and regulatory inspections.
Manage Productivity:
Actively manage and monitor clinical productivity to meet or exceed financial targets.
Requirements and Skills
AHPRA registration as a dentist and full working rights in Australia.
Minimum 5 years' clinical experience (leadership experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and upholding clinical standards.
Enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring others.
