Electrical Systems Configuration Management Specialist
This position is ideal for an individual with expertise in maintaining and managing electrical systems documentation, configurations, and updates.
You will be responsible for ensuring system integrity and compliance with established standards. Your ability to track changes, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures seamless project execution and system reliability.
In this role, you will define, generate, and review project requirements documentation, perform technical studies to refine project requirements, monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well-defined and maintained, and provide coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
You will also support engineers in the design, development, modification, and improvement of products/processes, conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs, anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory/compliance issues; recommend process, product or service improvements, solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact, contribute to the development of job family or strategy, mentor and advise project teams to achieve milestones and objectives, and regarded as the technical expert in your particular discipline.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience with design reviews and O&M facility-related programs of similar size, scope, and complexity, demonstrated experience managing a multi-million dollar project portfolio and balancing resources while maintaining costs and schedules, demonstrated experience working in a 24x7 operational environment requiring close coordination with mission operations, and demonstrated experience building recapitalization plans.
You should possess a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments with excellent oral and written communication skills. A valid driver's license and active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Security Clearance are required.
