About The Role
Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker / Welding Inspector to join our team in Carole Park, QLD. This dual role involves both fabrication and inspection in our workshop of government and mining infrastructure projects.
Successful Applicants Must
* Be experienced in structural/plate fabrication and welding
* Able to interpret workshop drawings
* Able to inspect welds against specifications for conformities.
* Can set welding machines and weld using Solid and Flux Core welding wire
* Have Cert III Boilermaker Qualification
* At least one of the following certifications
* CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
* IWI-B Welding Inspector
* AS1796 Cert 10 Welding Supervisor
* AS2214 Welding Supervisor
* MS Word and Excel experience an advantage
* Be able to attend a short interview
* Be able to provide references
