The Role
We're chasing Advanced Riggers for casual FIFO shutdown work.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading
complex and heavy lifts
for major gear — think apron feeders, shuttles, large gates, and other OEM plant.
Interpreting lift plans and detailed engineering drawings to execute rigging tasks safely and efficiently.
Inspecting and maintaining rigging gear, ensuring it's compliant, certified, and always ready for work.
Mentoring more junior riggers, stepping in to guide fitters and boilermakers when needed — you're a true technical leader.
What We're Looking For
2+ years
of hands-on mining site rigging experience.
Current
High-Risk Work Licence
(HRWL) for rigging (RI or RA).
Essential qualifications: Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres, VOC (RA/RI), all valid within the past 2 years.
First Attack Firefighting Equipment certificate — safety is non-negotiable.
A strong safety mindset and a team-oriented attitude — you know that rigging isn't a solo show.
