To continue supporting our growing team and strengthening our collaborative healthcare model in remote communities, we are seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to join us based in Darwin.
The Role
As the People and Culture Coordinator, you'll play a key role in building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.You will provide hands-on support across all facets of HR—from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, systems, and employee engagement
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and contract renewal activities.
* Maintain up-to-date employee documentation in compliance with industry standards.
* Support the continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and reporting.
* Respond to HR enquiries and support managers in applying company policies and procedures.
* Prepare employment contracts, position descriptions, and related documentation.
* Monitor onboarding compliance and system access for new employees.
* Maintain HRIS and personnel files in line with privacy and recordkeeping obligations.
* Track mandatory compliance (e.g. NPC, Working Rights, licenses) and training records.
* Support learning and development activities, HR projects, and internal initiatives.
About You
You're a people first professional with a genuine passion for creating positive workplace experiences and building culture. You are seeking a role that grows with you as you expand your skill set from People and Culture admin and recruitment to coaching and mentoring managers and implementing employee and training.
As part of the larger Head Office People and Culture team you will be the frontline support in the Northern Territory but will receive ongoing daily support and mentoring from the greater team.

Criteria
* Experience in a HR, recruitment, or People & Culture support role
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
* Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence
