Seeking a committed and enthusiastic Exploration Geoscientist wanting the chance to work alongside a global leader in the mining and resource sector
**About this role**
Brunel Australasia are currently partnering with one of Australia's leading natural gas producers. They have a great reputation for creating a safety-focused culture, whilst they expand their operations in Queensland's onshore gas reserve
- Planning field programmes
- Managing field operations including supervising drilling activities
- Managing the data flow from the field using QA/QC protocols.
- Interpreting the data and generating sections and 3d geological model
- Reporting on results including completion of statutory reports
- Conducting geological mapping and reconnaissance work
- Conducting technical projects as require
- Presenting to the wider team at technical forums.
**About you**
- Exploration experience - having previously worked remotely or in a mining environment would be an asset
- Hard Rock (IOCG, sed hosted)
- Have experience with diamond, mud rotary and RC drilling, logging and QAQC
- Remote area First aid
- S1 ,S2,S3 supervisor training
- 4WD training and defensive driver course
- Relevant degree in geology
- Demonstrate operational strengths (logistics, coordination, contractor management, supervision) - and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Relevant industry experience, including significant field time would be an asset
