Job Overview
Multidisciplinary design project managers are sought to oversee projects through the Estate Works Program primarily via the Project Delivery Services Contract.
Responsibilities include delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in a Defence environment.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience leading project delivery in fields such as building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime, with Defence experience preferred.
Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management or engineering disciplines desirable.
Able to undertake overnight travel to project locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
* Foster collaboration across internal project teams and industry delivery partners.
* Proactively manage issues, drive decision making, and lead resolution pathways.
* Evaluate and mitigate risks for Defence clients.
* Manage technical and quality assurance activities relating to design and safety analysis of Defence infrastructure.
* Provide mentorship to staff seeking to develop knowledge and experience in delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Requirements
* Relevant experience leading project delivery in fields such as building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime.
* Defence experience preferred.
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management or engineering disciplines desirable.
