Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division. The role will demonstrate competence in developing on various digital platforms, using user‐centred design approaches, and ensuring compliance with appropriate quality frameworks and industry standards. The team works across multiple digital platforms to drive business efficiencies and ensure day‐to‐day core digital platforms used by staff and students run smoothly. The appointee may be required to be contactable and/or work outside of standard business hours on occasion, with such instances treated in accordance with the relevant provisions in the Enterprise Agreement for Professional Staff. This position reports to the Team Leader, Digital Experience Platforms for career planning, development, and performance expectations.
What You Need To Succeed
* Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least four (4) years of subsequent relevant experience in full‐stack development within an information technology area.
* Demonstrated experience in contributing as a technical expert within a team and implementing improvement strategies that support effective responses to client needs to achieve organisational goals.
* Proven analytical and problem‐solving skills, with demonstrated experience in identifying and conceptualising client requirements; and designing, developing, deploying and implementing solutions using a variety of contemporary web technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, including the ability to develop and present concepts to, negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing own and workflow priorities, and working across a diverse number of initiatives within tight and competing timelines.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining and supporting corporate web applications, following agreed standards, with a focus on improving user experience.
