The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Lawyer to join our growing practice. This role would suit a practitioner who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is comfortable managing a meaningful and active caseload within a supportive team environment.
Part-time and flexible working arrangements will be genuinely considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a family law caseload including parenting, property and financial matters
* Advising on estate planning matters (to the extent of the practitioner’s experience)
* Running files autonomously from initial advice through to resolution
* Appearing in court, mediations and dispute resolution conferences
* Providing strategic, commercially sound advice tailored to client circumstances
* Mentoring junior lawyers (if desired) and contributing to a supportive team culture
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
* Admitted legal practitioner in Australia
* Minimum 3+ years’ post-admission experience
* Substantial experience in family law
* Experience in estate planning is advantageous but not essential
* Confident running matters independently
* Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
* Client-focused, pragmatic approach
* Interest in part-time or flexible work arrangements welcomed
