About the Role
Our client, a boutique hotel in central Dunedin, is looking for a reliable Weekend Relief Duty Manager to support the Hotel Manager.
This is a permanent part-time role, mainly covering Saturday and Sunday daytime hours, with only occasional after‐hours support required.
You will assist with the smooth operation of the hotel on weekends, acting as a key point of contact for guests and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Working Days & Hours
* Saturday and Sunday
* Flexibility available if an occasional weekend day off is required
* Occasional after-hours phone support or emergency attendance
* Additional hours available when covering the Hotel Manager during annual leave
Key Responsibilities
* Support the weekend operation of the hotel
* Guest check-ins and check-outs as required
* Respond to guest enquiries while maintaining high service standards
* Manage bookings and guest communications
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed
* Attend to urgent operational issues when required
About You
* Previous experience in hotels, accommodation, or hospitality preferred
* Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
* Calm and capable when handling unexpected situations
* Highly organised and comfortable working independently
* Ideally based centrally in Dunedin, or able to attend the hotel promptly if required
