About the Role
We're looking for a confident, analytical and commercially sharp Senior Merchandise Planner to join us at our Maroochydore HQ. In this role you will take ownership of the New Lines; Stock and Supplies Ordering; Replenishment settings and Sales Review cycle for Jewellery and SkinKandy assorted lines. Your dedication to detail will realise a product mix that maximises profitability and availability for the expanding SkinKandy market. You will be working within an expert team who take the utmost care and responsibility for all that SkinKandy brings to the market.
Responsibilities
* Create purchase plans and assortments for maximum sell-thru and minimised markdown/quit cycle
* Analyse and update weekly results and forecast data
* Review historical sales and stock trends to reconcile delivery variances and improve forward forecast accuracy
* Review and maintain stock and supplies dynamically – always looking to improve turnaround, spend and efficiency
* Review and manage weekly replenishment for stores and direct supply orders
* Advise/maintain store mins/maxs with the allocator(s)
* Proactively communicate results, forecasts and planning of event/seasonal cycles
* Provide feedback and suggestions across departments and warehouse for inventory risks and opportunities
* Be a collaborative member of the SK team
Required Skills
* Experience in Retail Merchandise Planning
* Superb numerical skills & analysis; backed up with inquisitiveness
* Self-starter with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong commercial and retail sensibilities
* Desire to build strong working relationships and ability to work independently
* Solid and consistent presentation skills with the confidence to communicate across the SkinKandy team
* High level Excel skills
* Previous experience with Power BI, NetSuite, NetStock or similar ERP is favourable
