Job Description Prepare statutory financial reports ensuring compliance with Australian financial legislation and tax regulations.
Manage tax compliance obligations and oversee preparation of income tax returns.
Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely completion of month-end tasks.
Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts aligned with organisational objectives.
Support treasury and investment functions, ensuring adherence to investment policies.
Lead relationships with external auditors and tax advisors; manage audits and address queries promptly.
Ensure lodgement of statutory requirements (Income Tax, FBT, GST, ASIC).
Oversee financial controls and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
Assist in preparation of Board and Audit Risk Committee papers.
Drive process improvements and system efficiencies to enhance control environment.
The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Manager should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification Mid-tier or Big 4 business advisory/ tax trained is advantageous Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance.
Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
