Are you passionate about people culture and organisational success? SEDA College WA is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our team and play a critical role in supporting staff, fostering a positive workplace culture and enabling evidence-based HR decisions.
In this pivotal role you'll lead HR initiatives that attract, develop and retain talented staff ensuring the College continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for our students.
ABOUT THE ROLE HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
As Human Resources Advisor you'll be at the heart of supporting our staff and shaping the College's culture. You'll deliver people-focused HR services across the employee lifecycle partnering with leaders to :
Recruit & Onboard : Lead end-to-end recruitment ensuring positive experiences for candidates and managers.
Manage Employee Lifecycle : Support performance, probation, salary reviews and exits while analysing HR metrics to guide decision‑making.
Employee & Industrial Relations : Provide expert advice on employment matters, workplace investigations and compliance with modern awards and the Fair Work Act.
Engagement, Wellbeing & Culture : Drive reward, recognition and staff wellbeing initiatives fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
Policy Compliance & HR Systems : Develop HR policies, maintain compliance and optimise HR / Payroll systems for accurate data and efficient processes.
Payroll & Employment Data : Oversee accurate payroll processing and maintain employment records.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE DIFFERENCE YOU'LL BRING
We're seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail, integrity and a genuine commitment to staff development.
Essential
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience
* Experience across recruitment, performance management, employee relations and HR systems
* Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Current Working with Children Check, Drivers Licence and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
* Experience in education or not-for-profit sectors
* Working knowledge of HR / Payroll systems (Employment Hero) and compliance frameworks
