About the Business
TechSpan Building Systems and OpenX Doors design, engineer, manufacture, and deliver large‑scale steel buildings and industrial door systems across industrial, agricultural, aviation, defence, and infrastructure sectors. We support projects from concept through to construction—whether clients self‑manage or work with certified builders. Our structures are designed for real‑world conditions, integrated seamlessly on site, and built to perform. The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and as a member of the Leadership Team, you will lead the finance function across both businesses while also overseeing Human Resources, administration, payroll, office management, procurement, contract administration, and compliance.
This senior, hands‑on role combines strategic leadership with real operational responsibility. You'll guide a small, capable team, improve systems and reporting, introduce smarter ways of working, and ensure the business has the financial insight and control it needs to grow with confidence. You will be trusted to own the numbers, challenge where needed, and bring clarity to complex commercial decisions.

About You
You're an experienced operational finance leader who has thrived in growing, fast‑moving organisations. You're comfortable switching between strategy and execution, and you enjoy building structure without bureaucracy.
You bring:
* Proven leadership experience across finance and administration
* Strong capability in financial reporting, payroll, and cash flow management
* Construction or project‑based finance experience (WIP, budgeting, forecasting)
* Confidence‑improving systems and processes
* Experience with MYOB, Jobpac, or similar accounting systems
* A practical, commercial mindset and the confidence to partner at leadership level
