**Your new role**
The Claims and Payments Integrity Team is responsible for implementing detective and preventative measures that will reduce claims and payments error and improve compliance through performing a combination of manual validation checks and systematic risk & behavioural analytics. It is also responsible for establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships to improve the claims and payments control environment.
In this role, you will actively manage and maintain internal and external relationships and, where required, you will represent and negotiate on behalf of the Agency to advance its interests across a range of forums.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the preparation of advice including briefs, business intelligence reporting and assurance reports.
- Ensuring appropriate development, maintenance and ongoing review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document the required testing, validation checks and systematic analysis to be performed.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, plan managers and participants, to successfully complete validation activities and implement recommendations.
- Ensuring continuous improvement, maintaining technologies and incorporating new channels for validation.
- Contributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration.
- Reporting on project outputs to stakeholders and overseeing regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you MUST be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance Management.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a varied fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritise work, meet deadlines and set service expectations
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of various stakeholders
- Experience, or previous working experience, in the disability field is highly advantageous
**What you'll get in return**
