Support Workers for At Home Services - Aged Care

The Parkside Foundation Aged Care Team is expanding and seeks reliable and compassionate Support Workers with a formal qualification and minimum of 1 year or 500 hours experience in the aged care sector.
The successful applicant will understand what is required to make a positive difference in the lives of older and help them “to live a full life with purpose”.
We would love to hear from you if you are able to demonstrate:
· Ability to communicate effectively (in person and in writing) with clients, their family, and colleagues
· An understanding of the role of the client’s Support Plan in the provision of services
· An understanding of common health and wellbeing needs of older people
· The ability to identify and manage risks to others and to oneself
· The ability to manage time and tasks to be prompt, responsive and reliable.

Applicants are also required to have NDIS endorsed Working with Vulnerable People card, current First Aid and CPR, current driver’s licence and a registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.
