My recent role
As the Communication and Engagement Officer, you will be key in crafting and supporting external communication strategies and promotional assets, with a particular focus on engaging the Australian Public Service (APS) Sector. Passionate about reframing the superannuation journey mindset of our customer, you will consider the delivery of end‐to‐end engagement from a retention and acquisition standpoint.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities to enhance engagement levels through Employer Sponsored events, while also driving customer retention and acquisition
- Crafting and delivering promotional campaigns to support business objectives
- Customising engagement content using the CSC education framework, ensuring it meets employer needs across various formats
- Building and maintaining positive relationships
- Supporting and enhancing customer engagement initiatives to improve overall experience and satisfaction
- Preparing reports, papers, briefs, and other documentation as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this position
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role
- Understanding of the superannuation industry, particularly accumulation schemes, is highly regarded
- A proactive and strategic approach to customer engagement and retention
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain effective relationships
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite products and the ability to use various systems, tech tools, databases (CRM) and design software such as Adobe Express and Canva
- Strong analytical skills to interpret client data and derive actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise a range of tasks in a high‐volume, fast‐paced work environment with the mindset to meet deadlines and targets
- Self‐motivated with a proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities and solving challenges
- Copywriting skills, highly advantageous
