Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in Sydney. This is a key role focused on establishing a local presence and building a client base from the ground up.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and targeted campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

* Conduct market research to map potential client segments and develop a go-to-market plan.
* Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and C-level stakeholders.
* Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
* Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
* Track pipeline activity and report on sales metrics and forecasts.
* Contribute to refining sales strategies and continuously improving business development processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B business development, preferably within the IT services or technology space.

They will be commercially astute, with a consultative and solutions-based approach to selling, and skilled at selling to senior executives, Boards, and other key decision-makers.

* Proven track record in B2B business development.
* Strong ability to open new doors and build relationships from a cold start.
* Commercially astute, with a consultative and solutions-based approach to selling.
* Skilled at selling to senior executives, Boards, and other key decision-makers.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a growth-focused environment.
* Experience with CRMs and managing sales pipelines effectively.
