Nursing duties involve all aspects of the veterinary practice, including reception, surgical nursing, hospitalization, radiography, ultrasonography, pathology and Puppy School if you're interested (no Puppy School duties if you're not interested).
We are a fast-paced, all-go clinic and see a mix of different companion animals, including exotic and pocket pets, so it is a great opportunity for you to expand your nursing skills and learning.
We have a moderate to high surgery load and high standards, so experience in monitoring anaesthetics for high-risk patients, confidence with surgical nursing, ability to multi-task and strong passion for patient care is a must.We use RxWorks (practice management software), SmartFlow (inpatient software) and Deputy (rostering software).
Experience with using any of these is favourable, though not a prerequisite.Our Opening HoursMonday - Friday: 8am to 7pmSaturday: 8am to 2pmSunday/Public Holidays: CLOSEDThe roster is shared over a six-day period so you will need to be flexible for weekends and able to work both independently, and as part of a team.If this role sounds like the right fit for you, and you would like to become part of the Seaton team, please apply today!
