Pre-Admission Clinic Nurse (RN) – Northern Beaches HospitalPermanent Part-Time | Monday – Thursday | 07:30 – 15:36 (potential to extend)The Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC) at Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking a highly self-motivated Registered Nurse to join the team. This role involves working closely with the Anaesthetic team, Day Surgery NUM, and the Hospital’s Clinical Coordinator as the first point of contact for patients preparing for surgery.The clinic runs Monday to Thursday, seeing up to nine patients a day, with a combination of in-person and telephone consultations. Key responsibilities include reviewing patient results, verifying clinical data, liaising with specialists, and communicating relevant information to stakeholders. Patients from a range of specialties, ranging from Orthopaedics to Obstetrics, are referred to the clinic by surgeons.The ideal candidate will be organised, confident in clinical decision-making, and keen to contribute to the quality improvement project currently underway in Pre-Admission Clinic.
