**The Role**
Two exciting opportunities have become available on a family-owned property located in Cootamundra. The large property covers 13,000 acres with a focus on sheep and cropping. The property is currently running 10,000 merino ewes and cropping 3600 ha of wheat, canola, and barley.
The property operates modern and well-maintained machinery and infrastructure including undercover yards, good fencing, and laneway systems across the property for ease of mustering.
The property has two positions available which would suit either a couple or two singles. One role is livestock focused and the other is cropping-focused.
**Cropping-**
**The cropping position will be responsible to help oversee the cropping program and be involved in all aspects of the program including-**
- Operating all machinery including
- tractors with all implements including boom spray, header, chaser bin, and truck.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with all mechanical maintenance.
- Experience with cropping wheat canola and barley.
- Knowledge of GPS systems and Agworld
- Chemical certificate and knowledge of chemicals for spraying.
**Livestock-**
**The livestock position will be responsible to oversee day-to-day operations with all sheep operations including-**
- Mustering and stock shifts with side-by-side or ute and working dogs.
- Recording data and movements with the livestock system Agriwebb.
- All animal husbandry
- drenching, drafting, vaccinating.
- Helping contractors with marking lambs and shearing.
- Pasture management.
- Livestock water checks and maintenance.
**The Offer**
An attractive salary package is available for negotiation for the successful applicant along with a 3-bedroom home with an enclosed yard, dog food allowance, and a work ute for work purposes. There is school bus access on the property to Cootamundra schools. The property is ideally located 28kms Temora and 28kms from Cootamundra which has all services needed.
