The Opportunity
Working side by side with our Australian Defence Force Customer, Boeing Defence Australia's you will perform a significant role in preserving aircrew and passenger safety by maintaining and certifying for maintenance, inspection, fitment and acceptance of individually issued ALSE equipment.
We are looking for the next Aircraft Life Support Equipment Technician (ALSE) to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team supporting the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) at Nowra.
**Responsibilities**:
- Completing assigned maintenance activities IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities are incorporated IAW approved processes and procedures.
- Servicing of the entire suite of Aircraft Life Support Equipment utilized by aircrew at HATS.
Experience/Qualifications
- Hold a Certificate Cert III / IV in Aircraft Life Support and Furnishings; or Certificate III in Public Safety (Aviation Life Support Maintenance)
- Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance / modification operating procedures and documentation.
- Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit and organisational goals.
- Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Sound knowledge of ALSE equipment maintenance, modification and planning documentation.
