Key Mining Engineering Role
The Mining Engineer is responsible for designing and scheduling mine operations. This critical role requires effective communication, strong relationships with stakeholders, and adherence to safety and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop strategic relationships with key internal and external partners to optimize operational productivity and equipment utilization.
* Prepare and present detailed site physicals for annual budget and monthly forecasting processes.
* Provide actionable medium-term forecasts and budgets for the operation.
* Communicate effectively with technical services, maintenance, and mine operations personnel.
* Support and mentor members of the technical services team.
* Ensure designs/schedules are compliant with relevant statutory requirements.
