Overview
This role is part of the Enterprise Technology Services team and liaises with Technical Leads and Business Analysts. As a Developer within the ITOM squad, you will be responsible for the development of enhancements to the ServiceNow platform. Working within an Agile squad structure, you will collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Tech Lead, Software Engineer and other Developers to ensure that all development and configuration activity follows a consistent process and delivers a high-quality customer outcome.
Responsibilities
* Work in an Agile or Scrum software development environment
* Work within the SAFe framework as part of a Release Train
* Collaborate with BAs, Scrum Masters and tech leads to refine backlog stories and provide technical input on ServiceNow configuration, best practices and platform features
* Document detailed designs and estimations
* Use technical skills to develop the solution and provide peer support and guidance
* Contribute to the efficient operation of the squad and the overall release train
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL with ITIL v4 certification preferred
* Strong expertise with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and administration
* Relevant certifications of ServiceNow CSA and CAD
* Experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs including advanced scripting
* Extensive functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, ITAM
* Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and API design best practices; understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous programming concepts; knowledge of modern web design (CSS, HTML), JavaScript, and Angular
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NET is desirable
