About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Counsellor/Case Manager to join our Early Intervention Programs. This role is part of the Reconnect Program, which supports young people at risk of homelessness, disengagement from education, substance use issues, or cultural disconnection.
The successful candidate will provide therapeutic casework, group work, and community engagement that empower young people and their support networks. They will build relationships and deliver early intervention services that support positive decisions, personal growth, and family and cultural connection.
This is a dynamic and meaningful role that combines therapeutic support with hands-on community collaboration. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to lasting, positive change in young people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapeutic casework and group work to young people and their families
* Provide community engagement and outreach services
* Build relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Develop and implement individualised plans for young people
* Work collaboratively with schools and service providers

Requirements:
* Degree in social sciences, social work, psychology, education, or a related field
* Experience delivering therapeutic supports to young people and their families
* Understanding of issues such as youth homelessness, educational disengagement, substance misuse, and cultural disconnection
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive approach to building community relationships and working collaboratively with schools and service providers
