About HPP Group:
HPP Group, Australia’s leading cut-to-size cabinet manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor – Trade Centre to join our growing operations team.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily workflow across Assembly, Quality Assurance (QA), and Trade Centre, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and on-time delivery.
About the Role
Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the end-to-end production flow across multiple areas of the factory. You will lead teams, manage priorities, and ensure smooth coordination between departments while maintaining a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate daily workflow across Assembly, QA, and Trade Centre
* Plan and prioritise work to meet production schedules and deadlines
* Monitor work-in-progress and resolve bottlenecks proactively
* Ensure seamless handover of jobs between departments
* Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to production teams
* Allocate labour resources effectively to meet operational needs
* Maintain and enforce quality standards across all areas
* Provide hands-on support and technical guidance when required
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
About You
You are a proactive and hands-on leader with a strong background in cabinetmaking or joinery and experience in a manufacturing environment. You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are confident managing multiple priorities while leading teams to deliver results.
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Cabinetmaking / Joinery (preferred)
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow coordination
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
* Effective communication skills across all levels
