This Senior Financial Analyst role plays a critical part within this mid-sized finance team, supporting the Financial Controller and CFO. The company aims to be the world's leading manufacturer in their field both in Australia and overseas.
Your role will be highly strategic, supporting decision-making through accurate financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities. You will lead the development of financial models for data capture that drive operational performance and long-term planning.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the Financial Controller with financial reporting and strategic initiatives;
2. Delivering high-level financial analysis and reporting;
3. Enhancing the quality and accuracy of financial data;
4. Leading budgeting and forecasting activities;
5. Designing and developing financial models;
6. Identifying new growth opportunities, including BOM cost validations and reconciliation of costings against budgets and forecasts across pre-sales and initiatives;
7. Assisting with the preparation of Board papers and CEO reports;
Candidates should be CA/CPA qualified and have experience in a commercially focused analytical role within manufacturing. Strong analytical skills, advanced financial modeling, reporting expertise, and experience with dashboards and BI tools are essential.
