Working at B&H Worldwide you will have the opportunity to grow your career supported by an award-winning team and industry.Our MissionTo support our customers with consistent, dependable, competitive and innovative logistics solutions which powers their business.Our VisionTo be the most respected, valued, passionate and entrusted leader in global aerospace logistics.The Operations Coordinator will work within the Operations team to complete shipments from start to finish, always ensuring excellent customer service.Line Manager: Station ManagerLocation: SydneyConditions: Full Time (Monday to Friday)Key Role AccountabilitiesArrange export/import shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP, liaising with B&H overseas offices and other B&H departments to meet specified deadlines and defined KPIs.Respond to customer requests within a timely fashion.Ensure all shipments are entered on the Company's system.Arrange transport, as required, to complete the shipment requirements.Monitor shipments and update all tracking information in the B&H systems.Handle warehouse inventory dispatches within the specified deadlines.Answer incoming telephone calls in a polite and timely manner and in accordance with SLA standards.Ensure export and import processes are completed in compliance with Company operating procedures and AU regulations, including customs laws.Adhere to A.A.C.A security requirements, reporting any identified non-conformances promptly.Adhere to B&H Quality Management System Processes.Raise customer invoices within agreed KPI, ensuring that all costs have been entered and properly recorded, highlighting any areas of concern to line manager or the Account Manager.Liaise with overseas offices, partners and vendors to ensure that correct costs are received.Identify smarter ways of working to increase efficiency.Maintain and develop customer relationships alongside Customer Solutions.Have a good understanding of individual customer needs and requirements.Ensure prompt and efficient communications to customers on any changes that affect their business e.g. delays, changes to flights, emergency measures etc.Your ExperienceProven air exports/imports operational experience, ideally gained within the aerospace logistics industry.Customer focused with excellent attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.Ability to consider several possible options and decide on the most appropriate method.Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and bespoke industry-relevant systems.Excellent process and planning skills.Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the impact of actions.Proven communication skills both written and verbal.Work proactively using own initiative.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Dangerous Goods Compliant is an advantage.What We Offer:Paid vacation, and an additional day for your birthday.Employee Assistance Programme.Free on-site parking.Opportunity to grow expertise through ongoing coaching, training and development sessions.B&H Worldwide are an equal opportunity employer.
