We’re looking for Actuarial Analysts at the APS6 level to join a Federal Government team delivering high-impact analysis that supports Australia’s largest social program. What You’ll Be Doing
* Extracting and preparing data from a central warehouse and other sources
* Performing data cleansing and quality checks for reasonableness
* Supporting reporting cycles through structured data analysis
* Applying statistical or actuarial modelling techniques to monitor trends and produce meaningful insights
* Producing ad hoc reports and analytical summaries for key stakeholders
* Communicating your findings clearly, both verbally and in writing
What We’re Looking For
* Progression through Part I and Part II actuarial qualifications
* A background in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics, or a closely aligned field
* 2–4 years of experience in analytical or finance-related roles
* Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset

Hybrid working arrangements are available, typically requiring three days per week in the office, with two days flexible—negotiated directly with your manager. This is a supportive, structured team that encourages autonomy while offering consistent support.
